Degree Programs

Photo Pro Network/KPPA are proud to offer a series of degree programs that reflect different aspects of professional photography; excellence in photography, dedication/service, teaching, leadership and continuing education.  Holders of PPN's degrees are some of the most highly regarded, talented and successful photographers in the country.  In fact, the PPN Degree of Excellence frequently takes longer to achieve than the PPA Master of photography degree since it completely based on photographic imagery and does not include merits earned through service and continuing education.

We encourage all of our members to improve their photographic business and customer service skills on a continuing basis so that when the general public selects a member that holds on of our degrees they are getting a truly qualified professional.  If you are looking for a photographer, seek one that has earned one of our degrees and if you are photographer seeking to rise to the top of our profession then there is no better time to start your journey then now.

Photo Pro Network  Degree of Photographic Excellence

The PPN Degree of Photographic Excellence was formed to honor members of PPN who have demonstrated their outstanding photographic abilities through Print Competition.  Only prints entered in PPN Print Competition earn merits for this degree.

The Degree is earned by accumulating 30 print merits as documented by the Print Competition Committee.  When all the merits have been earned and verified, the PPN Medallion on a Red Ribbon will be presented at the Annual Awards Ceremony during the annual Photo Pro Expo.  Members who have previously received the PPN Fellowship Degree will receive a Red & Black Ribbon to be used with their current medallion to signify that they hold both degrees.

A Gold Bar, to be affixed to the ribbon, will be presented to members who accumulate 50 additional merits.
